Vanastra for the past 4 weeks and
after a week off will skate for 4
more weeks.
A number of skaters from the
Vanastra Summer school entered
the St. Catherines Invitational
Competition held in Niagara Falls
on Saturday July 17th and Carol
Wheeler and Blaine . Moore
recieved a gold trophy for first
place in pre-novice pairs and
Kevin Wheeler placed third in
pre-juevenile boys and recieved a
bronze trophy.

The draw for the market hog,
sponsored by the Brussels Figure
Skating Club in aid of the new
Recreation. Centre Building Fund
was made on July 16.
The winner was Ross Knight,
R.R. 3, Brussels. The Figure
Skating Club made $466.25 for
the Brussels, Morris and Grey
Recreation Centre Building Fund.
