The regular service at. Duff's
United Church, Walton, Sunday
was conducted by Rev. Ed. Baker
at 10 a.m. His sermon was "I
have finished the course". The
choir sang an anthem, "I want to
do something for Jesus".
:Sunday is the last service
before Rev. Baker's holidays
which run from July 21 - August
20.
There is to be a sale of church
articles at the Moncrief United.
Church on Saturday, July 17 at
2:00 p.m. Moncrief Church was
closed the last of June.

The Brussels Horticulture Rose
Show and Tea was held at the
home of the President, Mrs.
Phyllis Dunk, on Wednesday
afternoon July 7th with guests
present from Blyth and Seaforth
Societies and friends in the
village. The weatherman was
most co-operative for the annual
event.Tea was served to over 40
ladies at tables out on the lawn.
Roses were judged rior to the
serving of tea with cookies and
squares by they hostesses, Mrs.
