bride s and groom s attending the
Brucefield United Church 100th
Anniversary Brides and Grooms.
Sunday, July 4. Each couple
attending who had been married
in the church or under the
auspices of the congregation in
the past 100 year were given a
certificate and each took part in
the act of re-affirmation of vows
along with many in the remaining
congregation who had been
married at other churches. A
wedding luncheon was served in
the church hall immediately fol-
lowing. A most memorable and
enjoyable day was appreciated by
the large crowd attending this
service.
A large group gathered on
Sunday afternoon, July 4 in
Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave' for
the Annual Memorial Service
under the leadership of Belgrave
Presbyterian Church.
Their minister Rev. Kenneth
Innes of Brussels conducted an
impressive service and accom-
panied the singing of the hymns
with his guitar. His sermon dwelt
on the Immortality of Man. He
reminded us that some of the
good and beautiful in the lives of
those who have gone still live on
in our midst.
Belgrave Library will be at the
arena this Saturday and will be
open from 7 - 10 p.m.

For several years sufferers
from arthritis in Perth and Huron
counties have been provided with
home-care treatment services by
The Arthritis Society's profes-
sional staff from the Regional
office in London.
To more effectively serve these
counties and to reduce travel
costs the Society has announced
that effective July 5, Mrs. Judith
Threinen, 114 St. David Street,
Mitchell, a Registered
Physiotherapist, will be in charge
of the Society's patient-care home
service program in this area.
The Arthritis Society's home
care program is an ancillary
service to all physicians in Perth
and Huron in the care of those of
their patients suffering from the
rheumatic diseases who will
benefit from treatment arid
education in the disease in their
Own home environment.
This cost.free service must be
requested by the patient's
physician but anyone desiring the
Society's informative literatUte or
