He was assisted by Peter Hilts who is employed there. Dorothy Sholdice thanked them and presented a gift. Minutes were read by Mrs. Ken McDonald followed by the .members answering the roll call, "What to look for when shopping for meat". I "Needle Blenders" leaders - Mrs. Lynne Steffer and Margaret Shortreed had a demonstration "Show :how to create a design" with Nanci Bennett and Peggy , Humphries taking the part. Walton II had an exhibit "Color and color schemes" with Elizabeth Reinink and Nancy Schade doing the commentary. Mrs Dianne McNichol and Jennie Reinink were the leaders. Mrs. Alberta Hudie and Mrs. Eleanor Liphard were the leaders, for Walton 111. They were unable to put on their skit , as some of their members were unable to be present. The girls from each club showed their wall hangings and their tree choice article that was, required for the project. A Touch of Stitchcry. Their record books were also on display. Mrs. Dorothy Sholdice and Mrs. Eleanor Plaas conducted a Very profitable penny auction. Lunch was served by hostesses, Mrs. Graeme Craig,Mrs. Harvey Craig, Mrs. Stewart Humphries and Mrs. Neil McGavin. Personal Mrs. Phyllis Dunk returned home filom the Seaforth Community Hospital last week where shChas been a patient for over two weeks following surgery. Her granddaughter Sandra Ford ,of 'Sheffield is' spending some time at her home in the village. Mr. and Mrs. David Dunk of Corunna visited 'for a day with his mother, Mrs. Phyllis Dunk after she returned from the hospital. Mrs. Florence McGavin. and Mrs. earl Williams of Seaforth visited with Mrs. Maud Leeming on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Lauretta Holdridge, her daughter Mrs. Sharron Higgins and family, Laurena and Gordon, all of Victoria, B.C. and Mrs. Hattie Snell of Londesboro were supper guests on Friday'with Mr. and Mrs. Allan 'McCall. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Achilles and Debbie of Fergus spent Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roily Achilles. Mrs. Walter Broadfoot has returned home from a visit with' her brother Sam Love at Saskatoon. She accompanied Mrs. Bill Farquharson, a cousin 'from London where she had been . visiting previously.
