Another milestone has been
reached in the village of Belgrave
with the moving Of the post office
from the Darnas Smith store to
the home of Robert Procter on the
easterly edge of the village,
The store has been used as a
post office down through the
decades and has, been the
meeting place every morning for
the villagers to know all the latest
happenings and some of the
• ftiture as well. It has been said
that if you didn't know it when
you left the corner it hadn't
happened yet.
The post office will be missed
on the corner, but •a new Belgrave
is arising and with the growth
'who knows how soon it will be
until a building will be needed for
a post office.
