Pupils of Grade II of Brussels
Public School recently visted
Wingham and their reaction was
expressed in reports prepared by
two of the students.
(By Lori Patterson)
Wednesday, June 16, Mrs.
Huther and the grade 2 glass of
Brussels Public School visited the
Wingham I. G.A.Store and we
saw many fruits and vegetables.
And then we went to the
Wingham town police station and.
I liked it when the policeman that
showed us around put Michael
Bridge into the handcuffs. And I
liked it too when we got locked up
in jail.
. Next we went to the Sun Rise
Dairy. There we saw the milk
being put into bags and cartons.
And of ter we saw everything' in
the diary they •gaVe us a square, a
donut, chocolate milk and ice
cream.
And then we went to the park
for lunch and I could hardly eat
my lunch; I was so full. But I had
a lot of fun on the toys and things
that were there. And then we
went to the fire hall and saw four
fire engines. And we saw the
school and a 45 foot ladder. And
then we went to the hospital and a
nurse showed us around. We had
a ride in an elevator. We saw the
babies and a baker gave us each a
cooxie and we saw the
ambulqnce.
And last but not least we
visited CKNX where a man
showed us around. We saw the
place where they play records for
radio and we say two studios, one
was Gardening with Gwen and
the other one was for the John
Strong report. I had a real fun
clay. And I would like to thank all
of those places and people that
made it possible and especially
the car drivers and our wonderful
teacher' Mrs. Huether. The car

First we went to the I.G. A.
Store. There were lots of nice
things to buy. Then I saw some
pens but they cost too much. I
enjoyed the I.G.A.Store. Next I
went to the Police Station. I liked
the cars the best. The siren was
loud. I liked the handcuffs too.
The old fashioned ones weren't as
nice as the newer ones.
Next we went to the Sunrise
Dairy. At the Sunrise Dairy the
people were nice. They gave us
chocolate milk, a square, - a
dounut and ice cream. I bought
four freezies and I gave three
away to my friends. Next we went
to the pzirk. It was a lot of fun
there. I played on the slide and
other nice things. Then we ate

Next we went to the fire hall. I
liked the yellow fire truck the
best. The others were nice too.
They had a ladder that just about
.reached to a top of a building.
Next we went to the Hospital.
They had interesting things to see
and the baker gave us a cookie.
Then saw a new born baby and
they even had a laundry room. I
liked the elevator ride the best in
the Hospital.
Next we went to CKNX when I
got to the records I saw lots and
