The International Plowing
Match in Bruce County in Sept-
eider, is already claiming new
records.
General manager of the Ontario
Plowmen's Association, Ed Statr,
informed the monthly meeting Of
all the committee chairmen that
the exhibitors' space in then 90
acre tented city, is alniost three
quarters sold. This he said, is an
all time record. He also predicted
a large attendance from the
Province of Quebec.
Chesley Arena Ladies' Club
Will he catering for meals served
in the official tent. This group is
endeavouring to raise funds for
their new arena.
Cameron Taylor, chairman Of
the billeting committee, repotted
a great increase in the number of homes made available tot ac commodation. They will be able
to look after anyone wishing to
stay for one or more nights during
the '76 Match.
A trailer park will be available
on the site for 230 units, Donald
McTavish' of Ripley is in charge •of this facility.

spring' drive sponsored by the Exeter • United Church. The
twenty-five cars took well over one hundred residents on a
two hour drive to Various parts of the county and it was
greatly aPpreciated by` .everyone.
The Girl Guides of Goderich provided a. variety program for
"Family Night". Mrs. Brady was coach and leader of the
group and Miss Nancy Bird was emcee for the -evening. Linda
Best and Brenda Bolton twirled their batons with music,
Dianne Bogie played several accordian numbers. There were
piano solos by Marlene McDougall; vocal numbers by Lori
Jewell and Carolyn Little; dance numbers by Heather
Brandoer' and Kim Brandy. The group of twelve girls sang
several of their camp songs and closed the program with the
song used each week to close their meetings. Mrs. Doak
thanked the Guides on behalf of the residents.
The ' Ladles of North Street United Church, Goderich,
entertained, the senior members of their congregation on
Wednesday afternoon at the United Church Camp, Ten
residents of the Home are former members of the church and
Mrs. Ramsay won the prize for the eldest lady. Everyone
enjoyed ,a picnic supper at five o'cloCk followed by a program
and a sing-a-long.
Open House at Huronview
The residents of Huronview, along with other -senior
citizens of Ontario, will celebrate Senjor Citizens' week from
June 20th to June 26th.
The Committee of Management of Huronview has declared
open house for the week, and invites all senior citizens' clubs,
or any, citizen over 60, to come and join in the programs. For
this week only; the dining room will be open to visitors and
volunteers at $1.00 per meals It would be appreciated if clubs
or individuals who are planning to stay for meals would let us
know in advance. Dinner for visitors will be *served at 12:45
p.m. and supper at 5:30 p.m.
Following is a schedule of activities:
Sunday, June 20th, 9:30 A.M., •there will be a special
church service in the Auditorium with Wesley-Willis Choir
and our chaplain Rev.. W. McWhinnie in charge. •
Monday afternoon there will be Old-Tyme music, dancing
and refreshments in the auditorium. Blyth Senior Citizens will
visit and Goderich Township Womens' Institute volunteers
will assist.
Tuesday, the Family Night program at 7 p.m. will be
presented by the Bayfield and Exeter Senior Citizens Clubs,
Wednesday of ternoon a musical program in the
anditorium sponsored by the Clinton Senior Citizens.
Thtirsday - A Sing-a-long led by Rev: Wesley Ball of Gorrie
and accompanied by Ed. Stiles, Goderich.
Friday - Bingo in the auditorium with special prizes.
Brussels Senior Citizens Club will be our guests. '
Saturday, June. 26th - Table games in the auditorium,
(euchre, bridge, crokinole) at 2 p.m.,Seafotth Happy Citizens
Club will sponsor this event.
