wife Audrey were honqred recently at a spring festival party of the Progressive
Conservative members and their wives. Mr. McKinley was presented with a silver
tray inscribed "for faithful and devoted service as Chief Opposition Whip in the
House of Commons from 1973 to 1976". The presentation was made by Elmer
MacKay, chairman of the PC *Caucus. Mrs. McKinley received a bouquet of red

60 members of the descendents
of the late D.W. and Sarah
Dunbar gathered at the Ethel
Community Centre on Sunday,
June 13th for a family re-union.
The occasion was the 80th
brithday of Clifford R. Dunbar to
whom a chair was presented.
A hot dinner was served by the
W.I. of Ethel.
Visitors came from Goderich,
barrie, Oakville and Atwood.
A social evening was held at
the Grey Central School on
Saturday evening with friends
and relatives of Mr, and Mrs.
Chester Earl of Atwood to honor
them on their 30th wedding ;
anniversary.
Tables of euchre were played
and a delicious lunch was served .
by the family.
Mr. and Mrs. George Pearson,
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cardiff,
Catharine and Robert, Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Bremner, Mr. and Mrs.
Andy Bremner and Doris
attended the Bremner and Allan
reunion at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Andy Taylor; at Freelton on
Sunday.
Brenda Bremner left this week
to work for the summer months at
the Police Office in Goderich.
Mrs. Frank Lawless of North
Bay and Mrs. Isabel Hewitt of
Listowel visited with relatives in
Ethel on Monday.
Miss Cathy Bremner of London
was home for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Manto and
family of Milverton visited with
Mr. Norman Beirneson on
Sunday.
Mrs. Percy Stephenson was in
Hamilton this weekend and
returned home on Saturday with
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Jess.
