Mr. and Mrs. Clare Veitch
arrived home on •Saturday from a
three week trip to England and
Scotland.

Wrexham, Wales, and Mr. and
Mrs. Garry Williams, London,
were weekend visitors with Mrs.
Stuart McNair. All visited on
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Henry, Goderich,
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Peter,
Bowmanville, and Mr. and Mrs.
Don Jacklin and Danny,
Bloomingdale, visited on the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Dunn.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ward, Brad
and Bonnie, Kitchener, were
weekend visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. John Engel and family.

WMS plans Toronto trip
11 visits during the month. Mrs.
Leslie Knight gave an interesting
topic on "Forgiveness," with
several .Bible passages read, all
showing how we should be willing
to forgive. A question and answer
period followed. "Just as I Am"
was sung and the Mizpah
Benediction was repeated by all.
Mrs. Stanley Fischer and Mrs.
Mac Engel assisted the hostess in
serving lunch.

the W.M. S. with an attendance
of nine members. Mrs. Stuart
• Stevenson opened the meeting
with •a reading. All joined in
reading Proveibs 4, followed by

of R.R.2, Bluevale, brother of the
groom, and John Adams of R.R.5,
Brussels, brother of the bride.
Mrs. Joanne King was organist
and accompanied the soloist,
Miss Joan Elliott who sang
"Sunrise, -Sunset" at the
begfnning of the ceremony and,
"For All We Know" during the
signing of the register.
The reception was held at the
Elm9. Community Centre,
Atwood, Ontario.
Guests were in attendance from

The bride's travelling costume
for a trip to Florida was a
polyester patterned dress in
shades of pink, peach and green
fashioned with V neckline and
gathered bodice. Her corsage was
a single yellow 'rose.
The couple will reside in
Hamilton, Apt. 502, 10 Ben
Lomond Place, Hamilton.
Candelabra, with ariange-
ments of pink, blue• and, white
flowers, was the setting in
Melville Presbyterian , Church,
Brussels, when Nancy Jean
Adams becanie the bride of
Kenneth Owen GovV'ing of
Brantford. Rev. K. Irines was the
officating minister at the double-
ring seven o'clock wedding
ceremony on May 14th, 1976.
Mr. and Mrs. Adams of R.R.5,
Brussels are parents .of the bride.
The groom's parents are Mr. and,
Mrs. Carl Gowing of
Bluevale. • ' • .•
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was gowned in white
jersey styled with long sleeves
and V neckline trimmed with lace,
and brocade fitted midriff. Her
beaded headpiece held the. long
train that was bordered with wide
lace. Her bridal bouquet was pink
roses with white stephanotis and
ivy.
The bride's attendants, Miss
Colleen Cardiff of Toronto as
.maid-of-honor and bridesmaids
Miss Lorna Man of London,
friend of the bride, Mrs. Nancy
Corrigan of R.R.1, Bluevale,
sister of the groom and Miss Vicki
,Bradshaw of Wroxeter, cousin of
the bride, wore long Aline gowns
of floral polyester, in shades of
pink and blue, with V neckline,
pointed collar and puffed sleeves.
They carried whit daisies and
blue carnations.
The groomsman was Bruce
Wilbee of Ethel.
