Service
on Sunday
The annual Decoration Service
of Western Star • Lodge and
Morning Star Rebekah Lodge of
the I.O.O.F. and the Brussel.
Branch of the Royal. Canadian
Legion was held at the Brussels
Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday
afternoon.
The Brussels Legion Pipe Band
led the—,parade • of 'marching
members from the mile and a
quarter corner south of Brussels
to the cemetery.
The Western Star service was
in charge •of Rae Adams, Noble
Grand. Jim Met aggart, Vice
Grand read the names of
deceased brethren of the lodge.
Ross Nichol, Chaplain gave the
prayers and Bob Fraser, Past
Noble Grand, delivered the'
charge.
Mrs. Leona Connelly, Noble
Grand, conducted the Morning
Star service assisted by Mrs.
Doris Wheeler, Chaplain.
Tom Garniss, President, with
Rev. E. LeDrew, Chaplain and
Mrs. J. Dellow of the Legion
Ladies Auxiliary, conducted the
Legion Service.
'Correction
James S. Smith, who died in St.:
June 4, was in his 65th year, not
his 56th year, as was recorded in
last week's Post. The Post
apologizes for the error.
