Music for dancing was supplied by the "Alley Cats." After lunch was served, the young couple were asked to come to the platform and Grant Vincent read an address and Glen Walker presented them, with a gift of money. Both Kevin and Barbara replied. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor of St. Ann's, Mr. and Mrs. Don Rae and Jamie of Guelph spent the weekend with Mr. arid Mrs. James R. Coulter.. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas of Digby, Nova Scotia, visited on Thursday with her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bieman, also visited with other relatives. A surprise Birthday party was held on Monday evening at the home of Ernest Michie in honour of Mrs. Elizabeth Leslie's 88th birthday. Miss , Brothers spent her earlier years around Brussels. She gave memoirs of her life in India. She was full of joy and pleasure remembering the years she spent on the mission field which were rewarding to her. The results were fruitful to other people. Mrs. Matheson introduced Miss Brothers and Mrs. Gibson thanked her for her talk. Music was supplied by the. Blyth Pathfinders. Mrs. Steiss read the scripture from Romans Chapter 16 verses 1-15 and Mrs. Ennis led in prayer. Mrs. Martin, the president was leader for the meeting. At the close of the meeting lunch was served by the committee in charge.
