Thomas Shortreed of Albert
Street, Clinton, passed away in
Clinton Public Hospital on Friday;
May 28th: He. was in his 70th
year. Born in Morris Township, a
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Wm Shortreed he attended
school in Walton. He farmed in
McKillop• until .his retirement to
Clinton in 1973.
Member ' • of , Melville
Prebyterian. Church, Brussels , he
had served' as an elder of that
church.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Mack (Janet) Webster of
Varna and Emma of Kitchener;
three brothers, James and
Wilfred of Walton and Gordon of
London and a granddaugahter,
Mary Ellen Webster.
MURRAY HOUSTON son of RAE
AND LOIS HOUSTON of #2,
Brussels, recently graduated
from Centralia College of
Agricultural Technology in the
Agricultural BUsiness
Management program. Murray
plans to return to theshome farm.
