The needs of the` elderly - was
topic of guest spealwr, Miss
nnie•Kuc, Reg. N., when she
ended the meeting---' of the
uevale Women's _Institute,. She
spoke of problems such as
loneliness, improper eating and
emotional problems which
torment the elderly, 'These
people need to be loved and
understood" she said.
Miss Kuc is a public health
nurse for Huron County. A
graduate of Laurentian University
at Sudbury, her home is in
Saskatchewan, but she presently
lives at Belgrave. Her duties
include home visiting, school
consultations and clinics.
Miss Kuc was thanked by Mrs.
Wendell Stamper who presented
her with a gift.
Mrs. Bill de. Vos hosted the
meeting which was in charge of
the president, Mrs. Jim
Armstrong. Mrs. Bill Peacock
read the minutes and
correspondence. Thank you notes

Society and Brookhaven Nursing
Home. Members were reminded
of the 4-H Achievement Day at
F.E. Madill Secondary School on
June 19.
A committee was named td
chose a grit to compete for the
title of Queen at the Howick Fall
Fair. She must be between 18 and
25 years of age by Sept. 15, 1976.

Bluevale Cemetery at two o'clock
on. June 9. Mrs. Harry Elliott will
be the hostess and the roll call,

teachers' name and the school
you. attended.
