PLETCH CHAMNEY Candelabra With pink mums' and daisies decorated Donnybrook United Church on April 24, 1976 for the wedding of Kevin Chamney. and Barb Chaney. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pletch of Belgrave and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Chamney, also of Belgrave. Rev. , Stan MacDonald performed the double-ring ceremony and Mrs. M urray Wilson at the organ accompanied Mrs. Allan Bosman who sang "The Lord's • Prayer" and "Morning is Broken". Given in marriage by her father and mother, the bride wore a gown of crystalette with a V- neckline and long puffy Bishop sleeves. The gown featured a gathered wide frill around, the bottom falling into a Chapel train trimmed with matching lace. The bride wore a Juliet cape touched off with tiny crystals held with a two tier pure silk illusion veil: Maid of Honour was Lois Beacon, Regina, and bridesmaid s -wereJoyce Chamney, Auburn, Ruth Ann Pletch Owen Sound and Noreen Walker, R.R.#3, Wingham They wore long, yellow polyester dresses trimmed with yellow centred daisies. The best man was Grant Vincent, Belgrave. Ushers were STeven Chamney, Auburn, David Pletch, Belgrave and Glen Walker, R.R.#3, -Wingham. Following -the ceremony a was held in the Brussels Legion Hall with music by the Moran Brothers. Guests were present from Niagara Falls, Windsor, New Brunswick, Owen Sound, Waterloo and Regina, BRUSSELS Saskatchewan. R.2, Monkton and John Nicholas Wammes, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wammes , R.R.1, Clinton, were united in marriage at • St. Bridgid's Catholic Church on April 24, 1976 at 2:30. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a polyester crepe floor-length gown with A-line skirt, boat neck, empire waist, sleeves with buttons, trimmed with daisies. The floor- length train from waistline. The head band had matching daisies. Her bouquet -consisted of yellow roses and white mums. Mrs. Marie Litt, of Sebringville, sister of the bride was the matron of Honor and the • bridesmaids were Mrs. Mary Brinley, R.R.2, Holyrod, -sister of the groom and Miss Linda Winteringham, Mitchell, friend of the bride. The matron of honor wore a light yellow printed flocked polyster crepe with short puffy sleeves, full floor length Knox. United Church, Belgrave, was the scene of the marriage of Brenda Margaret Coultes of R.R.5, Wingham and Wayne Paul Collins, London on April 30th at 8 p.m. with Rev. John G. Roberts officiating at the double-ring ceremony. The church was decorated with yellow candles surrounded by yellow daisies. White bows centred with a daffodil were on the guest pews. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Coultes, R.R.5, Wingham and the groom is the son of Mr.Charles Collins and Mrs. Galdys Duncan, Woodstock. The bride chose a dress of polyester organza with lace bodice and long lace sleeves. It was appliqued with lace medallions and featured a self ttain with a white velvet headpiece with shoulder-length veil. She carried red sweetheart roses with white mums. Doris Coultes, Milverton, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Shaton Meier, Ingersoll, cousin of the groom, Mrs. Bryan Coultes, Wingham, sister-in-law of the bride, Angela Coultes, niece of the bride was the flower girl. BRUSSELS'4. 711 POST They were dressed alike in beige polyester crepe dresses with yellow and orange roses, topped with a rust velvet cape. They carried wicker baskets of yellow daisies. Dan MacRae, London, friend of the'groom was the groomsman and the ushers were Bryan Coultes, R.R.5, Wingham, of the bride and Grant Coultes, R.R.5, Wingham, cousin of the bride. Jason Coultes, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer. They were dressed in brown tuxedos with yellow shirts and wore yellow boutonnieres. Mrs. Sydney Thompson was the organist and Jim Robertson, Wingham the soloist, sang 'Let it be Me" and "The Twelfth of Never." The reception was held in the Legion Hall, Wingham. For their wedding trip to Eastern Ontario the bride travelled in a two-piece light blue polka dot street length dress with black accessories. The couple will reside at the 10th line of East WawanOSIi. Guests were present froth Barrie, Owen Sound, Port Elgin, London, Ingersoll, Woodstock, Thainesford and surrounding area. The groomsman was Mr. Adrian Wammes, Clinton, brother of the groom and Mr. Leo Sanders, R.R.4, Brussels, brother -in-law of the groom and Mr. Pete de Jong, Blyth, friend of the groom were the ushers. Miss Ciasina Groot was the Organist and the soloist was Mrs. Jack Groot, Mrs. Gerry Kolkman and Mrs. Bert Kolkman. The dinner was held at 5:30 with reception following at 8:30 at the Brodhagen Community Centre. Guests were present from Chatham, Bothwell, Preston, Orillia, Brussels, Lucknow, Blyth, St. Marys, Clinton, Seaforth, Dashwood, London, Sebringville and Stratford.
