are not unfit to possess firearms or
ammunition. Two guarantors will be required

require applicants to demonstrate their
compute), in handling a weapon. I suggest, it
should. •
S. Minimum age of eighteen years to obtain
a firearms license will be invoked- but some
exceptions for minors under parental consent
and supervision, and in those areas where
hunting and trapping are a way of life.
6. The police will be giVen the power to

danger to the safety of some person. They
don't currently have such powers.
7. A legal , gun owner will be held
responsible for careless handling or storage of
firearms.
8. Any person convicted of using an
offensive weapon while committing an
indictable offence, will be subject to imprison.
ment .for at least one year in addition to any
