Morris Township council assed a 5.7 mill increase for on and residential public school *porters and 6.8 mill, increase r separate school supporters at h e ir regular council meeting last Monday. Council also increased the business and commercial tax levy by 6 mills from 92.02 in 1975 to 98.02 mills this year. In other business, council decided to accept the tender by Bre-Aar Excavating Ltd., London to construct storm sewer exten- sions in Belgrave at a cost of $18,929. Nine tenders in all were received by council for the construction., A tender by Donegan's Haulage Ltd. of Listowel to supply, load and deliver 8000 cu. yds, of gravel on the 1st line for 69 cents per cu. yd. was accepted from four tenders subject to the approval of the District MuniCipal Engineer. Council instructed the road superintendent to buy chloride from Pollard Bros., Harrow, at a price of $82.50 per ton. Robert Higgins was awarded the tender for hay on the waste disposal farm for $280.
