Mrs. Joe Walker
The March meeting of the\
Women's Missionary Society of
Knox Presbyterian Church, was
held at the home of Mrs. Glenn
McKercher.
Scripture taken from St. Luke's
,Gospel, chapter seven, and com-
ments from the Glad Tidings were
given by Mrs. Glenn Golley. Mrs.
Ross Mann, offered prayer.
The minutes of the February
meeting were read and roll Call
was answered by the menibers,
each giving a Bible' verse contain-
ing the name of an annual.
Forty-three visits to-the sick were
recorded.
The group accepted invitations
from Gorrie and. Wingham societ-
ies to attend their Thankoffering
services on April 14 and 20
respectively. Plans were made for
the Bluevale Thankoffering on the
evening of April 6:
The offering was received by
Mrs. McKercher and Mrs. Golley
gave the offeratory prayer. Mrs.
Burns Moffatt gave a most
interesting topic on the life ' of
Moses.
Mrs. Golley thanked Mrs.
Moffatt- for presenting the topic
and expressed gratitude to Mrs.
McKercher for sharing her home.
Following .the Singing of a
hymn ,and closing prayer, lunch
assisted by Mrs. Golley and Mrs.
Man.

day were Mr., and Mrs. Harold

The service in the Bluevale
United Church on. Sunday was
conducted by Mr. Robert Fraser,
clerk of session, assisted by
Harold Johnston and Allan Capp-
bell.

sermon, 'The Good Samaritan".

Superintendent told the Childrens
Story. The men's choir sang an
anthem, "Open My Eyes That I
May See."
Rev. , Wilena Brown is at
Princeton Theologicial Seminary
for a seminar on "Theology
Prayer" and Independant Study
on the field of Communication.
She will return on March 19 This
is a part of the United Church
