Charles of R.R. 1, Gorrie and Wayne L. Nickel of _ Fordwich were involved in a collision on County Road 28, south of Highway 87, Howick Township. Injured as a result of the collision were Donald R. Charles and two passengers in his vehicle, Ronald L. Ward of R.R. 1, Wroxeter and Kenneth Pen- nington of Gorrie. Damages to both vehicles were estimated at $1000.00. Team to play Milverton On S ittiirday morning the PeeWee team eliminated Paisley in their third game of the series. The final score read Brussels 13 - Paisley 7. Goal scorers were Todd Wheeler, 3, Terry McCutcheon, 3, Steve Knight, 2, Brian Tenpas 2, Kevin Deitner, Paul Johnston and Brad Wright 1 each. The Atoms won their series by defeating Paisley 7 - 2. They defeated them two games straight after tieing the first game. Brussels scorers were, • Danny Achilles, 2, Richard Haveman, 2, Kevin Wheeler, Brian. Wheeler, Murray Pipe, 1 each. Assists went to Peter Bennett, Doug. Shaw, Danny Achilles and Kevin Wheeler. The PeeWees played right after the Atoms and took an early lead in their game. A t the end of the second period they were leading 4 - 1 but slipped a _little and let Paisley tie the score in the third period. In the ten minute overtime period the home team scored three unanswered goals with the final score Brussels 7, Paisley 4. Goal scorers were Todd Wheeler 2, Paul Johnson 2 Steve Knight, Brian Tenpas, Stewart C a rdiff 1 each. Assists went to Kevin Deitner, Mike Watson, Ken Cousins, Ken Higgins, Steve, Knight. At home on Wednesday night the PeeWees played an exhibition game with Palmerston. In a close game the final score read Palmerston 6, Brussels 5. Brussels goal scorers were Steve Knight, Ken Higgins, Terry McCutcheon, Kevin Deiter, Ken Cousins. Assists went to Todd Wheeler, Kevin Deitner, Steve Knight, Ken Higgins. The second game on Wednesday night found the Bantams defeating the Hensall squad 4 - 1 in their second round consolation series. Brussels scorers were Doug Cousins with the hat trick and Scott Wheeler 1. Assists went to Tim Prior and Scott Wheeler. On Thursday night the Midget team travelled to Hensall for their first game of the consolation series. The FIensall team defeated Brussels 7 - 2, Brussels scorers' were Danny White and Jery Olechowski, with assists going to D4ve Stephenson and Danny White. The Hensall team returned to Brussels on Friday night to play the second game but only played nine minutes of the first period when the coach took his team off the ice and took them home. Brussels was leading 2 - 0 at the time. The third game can not be played until after a decision is reached by the W.O.A.A. concerning the offence. t t will be decided at the regular meeting in Wingham on Tuesday night (last night). The Novice team won their first round of consolation by eliminating Harriston in three gaines. Saturday night they won by a 10 - 1 score.. Brussels scorers were Kevin McArter 4, Tommie Ward 2, Dean. Wheeler, 2, David Wheeler 2. Assists went ' to Michael Bishop, Tommie Ward, Gary Godkin, Dean Wheeler, Marty Rutledge, Gary Pipe, Kevin McArter. They will now play Milverton, with their first game in Milverton on Friday night. They will also be partici- pating in the annual Flea Tournament in Lucknow on Saturday. Their first game wiii be at 11:00 a.m. against a team from Tiverton.
