Faced with a 1976 budget that

the Huron County board of
education is considering a
stringent cost-cutting program to
reduce that increase by half.
There has already been a freeze
on equipment acquisition for
schools and principals have been
ordered to chop their 1976
budgets by 10 per cent front last
year's level.
The board also is studying a 1 3-point cost-slashing plan which

modified to become
supporting and might see schools
