Wednesday night and hosted a
team from Hensall. The first two
periods were a see saw battle but
Brussels opened up in the third
period to win 7-4.
On Thursday night they return-
ed to Hensall to play the second
game which proved to be very
good. Brussels came home with a
1-0 win. The .Novice team also
travelled out of town on Thursday
night to Harriston ,where they
picked up a 6-0 win. Goal scorers
were Kevin Johnson 2, Kevin
,McArter 2, Rick Knight 1, Gary
Godkiti 1. Thrce assists went to
Tommie Ward ,and one to Rick
Knight.
On. Friday night the only game
played in the local arena was an
exhibition game with the midgets
between Brussels and Kincardine
In a good. game of end ,,to end
hockey, the final` score was
Kincardine tp, Brussels 7. Goal
scorers were Steve Pletch, 2,
Jerry Olechowski 2,. Murray Du-
charme 1; Dave . Stephenson 1,
Bill Smith 1. Assists went. to Dave
Stephenson; Scott Wheeler, Steve
Pletch, Danny, White.

GO DOGS GO The faces in the crowd show that
there was a lot of interest and excitement in the dog
sled races at the Lions Polar,baize Saturday.
Participation in all the winter events was good, in
spite of miserable weather, and many local people
said that, they had "a darn good, time."

On Tuesday night the Atom A's'
returned to Paisley , to play their
second game and picked up a 6-2
win. Brussels goals were scored
by Danny Achilles 2, Murray
Pipe, Peter 'Bennett, Robbie
Cardiff, Paul Machan 1 each.

On Wednesday the Peewees

close to tieing but were defeated
