MINI SIZZLERS,
YOU CAN ALWAYS SNOWSHOE Although the
snowmobile races were cancelled Sunday because of
lack of snow, snow shoe races went on as scheduled
Saturday at the Brussels Lions Polar Daize. Wet
sticky snow wasn't without its hazards though, as-
Scott Wilson found out when he lost one snow shoe.

Valentine's Day Assembly
The students's in Mrs.' Smith's
room 19 presented an enjoyable
assembly to the teachers and
students of Flowick Central on
Friday,, February 13th. Watching
this assembly were a number of
parents. The students acted out
little television skits such as
Happy 'Days, Flintstones, Pea,
nuts, Gilligan"s Island, Chico and
the Man, and a number of T.V.
commercials while they • were
changing sets. Yes, it was a very
enjoyable assembly and I noticed
everyone left with a smiling face.

Mrs. Nixon's Accident
Mrs. 'Payne is looking quite
busy. She has assumed the hectic
job of being a part-time and
full-tirrie secretary and at the
same time is looking after the two
typing elective groups. She is •
taking the place of Mrs. Nixon,
our full-time secretary, who fell
on the ice after coming out of the
Hair Dresser's and broke her leg
in two places. We hope that she is
getting well and will be back to
school soon. Janna Gowdy
