The Peewees played their first game on Wednesday night and came up with an 8-S, win. Brussels scorers were Paul J ohnston 2, Steve Knight 2, Mike Watson, Kevin Deitner, Ken Cousins, Todd. Wheeler. Assists went to Brian Tenpas, Ken Higgins, KeVin Deitner, Mike Watson, Steve Knight, Todd Wheeler. Their second game in Wingham on Saturday afternoon was very exciting with the score tied at the end of regular time. In the overtime period, Teeswater scored 2 quick goals to defeat the hOme team 5-3. Brussels goals were scored by Ken Cousins, Todd' Wheeler and Stewart Cardiff— Assists went to Steve Knight and Ken Cousins. Friday night the Aoms defeated Teeswater 5 - 2 and conceded the , series to Brussels. Goal scorers were Darrin Watts, Robbie Cardiff, Doug Shaw and Murray Pipe. Assists went to Richard Haveman, Dean Rutledge and Kevin wheeler. The Midget team played their first game in Lucknow against Teeswater and were defeated 7 - 3. On Friday night Teeswat er also defeated the home team 6 - 1. The Bantams were defeated on Wednesday night by - the Teeswater squad and again on Saturday in Wingham by a 8 - 5 'score. They also drop back to a zone playoffs. On Saturday the Novice team played the last game of their regular schedule in Seaforth and were defedated 5-3. Scorers were Kevin McArter 2 goals Tommie Ward 1. The only assist went to Kevin ohnston. On Sunday aft ernoon they travelled back to. Seafoarth for the first game of the playoffs. Their play was equal to the weather that they travelled through and were defeated 14 -4. Brussels scorers were Tim Fritz, 2 goals, David Wheeler 1, Gary Godkin 1. Assists went to Kevin McArter.
