agreement with Mr. McDonald,

Road expenditures for 1976
were set up, according to
Ministry of Transportation' and
Communication allocations.
Brussels will spend $9800 on
construction and $24400 for
maintenance, up considerably
from whit MTC allowed in 1975.
50 per .•cent of the totals is
available from pirovincial grants.
Councillors voted to' support a
motion from Alexandra and
Marine Hospital calling on health
minister Frank Miller to. reverse
his decision to close Goderich
Psychiatric Hospital or reign.
$25. was granted to the: Suron
Plowmen's Association and $25 to
War - Memorial Children's'
Hospital.
Salaries for village employeeS
were set when Brussels council
met Monday night. Most got a 50
cent per hour raise, while others
got a 10 per cent increase,
Village foreman Harry Crich
will get $3.75 per hour, Ruth
Sauve $3,00 per hour and casual
labour will be paid $3.25 per
hour.
Lila Goll will be paid $3 'per
hour for cleaning the village office
and $60 for the library. The
garbage truck driver will make
$20 per pick up and the<boys w
load the garbage $15 per garbage pick up.
The Brussels rep on the
Wingham Hospital board will
paid $11 per meeting plus $5 foi
transportation.
Firemen and the village fire 1'
chief will get a 10 per cent
increase, up from $150 a year fol
the chief and $3 each practise and.
$4 each fire for the men.
