Auditorium, on WEDNESDAY; JANUARY 21, 1976 at 7 pint to discuss the proposed OroVincial Sewage Works for the Village of Brussels. A hockey game of the half century, in the same class as Super Series '76 is scheduled for the Brussels arena next Saturday at 9p.m. The London PUC All Stars are coming to town to challenge Ritchie's Rockets in , a hockey exhibition. Baseball rejects are discarding their spikes for skates and will endeavour to meet and destroy this' challenge. Scheduled to play- are such stars as Big M McLennon, Boom_ Boom Chisholm, Peter Flaky Snow, Billy Mr. Zero Skinn, Spaghetti Legs Stretton, Lloyd Yakushev Valiance, J.C. Wheeler and many more. The date is Saturday January 10th 9:00p.m. at Make Believe Gardens, in Brussels, the game of the year! !! Now that the holiday season is over hockey should get back to a regular schedule again. The Atoms played two exhibition games in the last two weeks. The first one was, agaipst Seaforth' who defeated them 2-1. Peter Bennett scored the only Brussels' goal unassisted. Last Friday evening they hosted Listowel in a good game that ended 2-2. Brussels' goals were scored by Doug Shaw and Darrin Watts unassisted. The Bantam team travelled to' Drayton to play a re-scheduled game. They picked up a 2-0 win. Both goals were scored by Scott Wheeler unassisted. The Novice team played two games.A week ago Satur day they travelled to Harriston where they picked up a 5-0 win. Goal scorers were Gary Pipe, Gary bodkin, Tim Fritz, David Wheeler, Kevin McArter, Assists went to Gary Godkin, Kevin McArter, Tommie Ward. Last Saturday they journeyed to Seaforth where after two ties with this team they were handed a 4-2 defeat. Tim Fritz scored both goals for Brussels unassisted. The Pee Wee • B team participated in a tournament in Belmore during the holidays. The' first Saturday they played two games and won both. They returned last Saturday morning to be defeated by the, Uelmore team. Scorers Were not available. The pee Wee "A" team travelled to Watford last Saturday night in rather adverse weather to participate in the Silver Stick tournament there, In an 8,:30 game against Delaware they picked, up a 5-2 win. Goals were scored by Ken, Higgins, Paul . Johnston, Brian. Tenpas, Ken Cousins and Steve Knight. Assists went to Kevin Deaner, Brian Tenpas; Ken Cousins and Paul Johnston. They return to play again on Sunday, January .11 at 11:40 A.M. against a team from Chesley, The Bantam team participate the same tournament on Thursday night at 6:50 P.M. against a team from either Bothwell or Thedford.
