Part of the fun of holi-
days is preparing for them.
At Christmas, that means
buying and wrapping gift
packages for family, rela-
tives and special friends.
For .an artful, new ap-
proach to holiday wrap-
ups, to vary the traditional
holly and ribbons, try us-
ing decal designs in differ-
ent styles and patterns.
There's a wide variety
of designs to choose from,
and many have an old-
fashioned, Victorian flavor
— cherubs, birds, flowers,
ladies — that turn out
beautiful bbxes to place
under the holiday tree.
Decals are easy to work
with and, most important
in today's economy, imx-
pensive, too. By using them
with plain paper and
scraps left over from sew-
ing projects, note the styl-
ists at Meyercord, the de-
cal company, it's possible
to create elegant-looking
wrappings — yet still have
money left for Other ,gifts.

then simply add a decal
design at a central, focal
point. Frame the design
With white lace edging,
gold braid or Other trim,
and glue it on in square
