Weight
loss tips
losing *eight isn't that
Cut calorie intake by just
100 calories per day and you'll •
,lose 10 pounds in a year. 100
calories is less than one bottle of
beer or six potato chips or about
an' ounce and a half of steak.,
If you're on a reducing diet,
ho* much, weight should you lose
in a week? No more than 2
pounds. A greater weight loss
isn't healthy and it doesn't help
you to change yout eating habits.
Yon may want to lose weight
faster, but remember, a loss of 2
pounds a Week gets rid of 8 - 10
pOunds of fat in a Month. And
don't furget that when yOu're
losing weight,,nuttition matters
a lot!

Correction
In a story in last week's Post we
reported that the press was asked
to leave the Brussels Council
meeting while councillors
discussed their salaries.
Reeve Jack McCutcheon and
Clerk Bill. King have told us that
this is not correct. The Post
reporter was told if she. cared to
leave she could and she left the
meeting before the salary
discussion started. Council's
decision on salaries was reported
by. the clerk the morning after the
meeting.
In the same story, Clerk Bill
King was mistakenly referred to
as reeve Bill King. The Post
regrets the error.
