Recent investigations carried
out by OPP officers at Wingham
Detachment include:
Eight investigations with eight
charges laid under the Liquor
Control At.
Fourteen charges laid with 40
warnings issued under the
Highway Traffic Act.
Thirty-five other investigations
with two charges laid under the
Criminal Code.
On Saturday, October 18, Th
omas C. Robertson of Meaford,
Ontario was westbound on

of Knox' Presbyterian Church,
Mitchell conducted the anniver-
sary service in Knox Church on
Sunday morning October 19. His
thought provoking message was

The junior choir under the
leadership of Mrs. Stewart Steiss
contributed two anthems, = 'The
Lord's Prayer", Arnold Strals,
and "Jesus is coming soon",

Mr. and Mrs. Allan Dunn, Rick
and Bonita, Bloomingdale, Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Machan Lis-
towel, and Mrs. Kaye Pfeifer,
Brussels, attended the service
and visited later with Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Dunn.
Mr, and Mrs.' gob Paris and
County Road #25, west of
Sideroad 33-34, East Wawanosh
Township when a dog ran from
the north shoulder into the path of
the Robertson car. The dog;
owned by Lloyd McClinchey of
R.R.1, Auburn, was struck and
killed. Damages to the Robertson
vehicle were estimated at
$300.00.
Lorne J. Stevens of R.R.3,
Brussels and Gary R. Ronald of
R.R.2, Listowel were involved in a
collision on Huron County Road
*19, south of the C.N.R. crossing
family, Ottawa, spent the Thank-
sgiving weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. Alex Cameron and family.
Mrs. Russel Knight is a patient
in Listowel Hospital. We wish her
a speedy recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Cotton have
taken up residence in their new
home in Cranbrook.
.Mr. and Mrs. Alf King and Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Winter, Brant-
ford, spent Sunday with Mrs.
Calvin Cameron.
Mr. Don Cotton received the
sad news of the death of his
nephew in a car accident near
Owen Sound.
The regular service in Know
Church next Sunday has been
cancelled in favour of Monkton
anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Howarq Mitchell
visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Mitchell, Meaford, on Sunday.
Despite a postal strike the
publishers will make every effort
during the strike to ensure that
subscribers continue to receive
copies of the Post.

are being made to move copies of
the Post to area post offices so
they may be distributed by the
local offices and couriers.
Correspondents are asked tO
co-operate and either send their
weekly newst by phone or
messenger. In some cases it will

correspondents.
During the strike period mail
for the Post should not be
dispatched if en route it goes to
other than the Brussels post office
- otherwise it may become caught
in a central distribution office
such as Kitchener or London. If in
doubt it suggested advertisers
and correspondents call the Post
at 887-6641 Brussels or at
527-0240 Seaforth.

injuries.Damages were estimated

On Sunday, October 19, DAvid
B. Edgar of R.R.1, ATwood was
involved in a single car accident
on Concession 13-14, west of
Sideroad 15-16,-Grey Township.
Injured as a result was Steven
Edgar, a passenger. Damages to
the vehicle were estimated at
$375.00.
$5,000 Reward for information
leading to the arrest and
conviction of the person or
persons responsible for - the
murder of Aleitha Jane Henning,
age 58 of R.R.1, Ayton, Ontario
on September 19, 1975. The
reward is made up of the
Township of Normanby - $2,500;
Province of Ontario $2,500.
Anyone having information
should contact the Mount Forest
Detachment of the Ontario
Provincial Police or any O.P.P.
office.
