Fourteen charges laid with 40 warnings issued under the Highway Traffic Act. Thirty-five other investigations with two charges laid under the Criminal Code. On Saturday, October 18, Th omas C. Robertson of Meaford, Ontario was westbound on Correspondent Mrs. Mac Engel Rev. Mr. Don Cotton received the sad news of the death of his nephew in a car accident near Owen Sound. The regular service in Know Church next Sunday has been cancelled in favour of Monkton anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Howarq Mitchell visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mitchell, Meaford, on Sunday. Injured as a result was Steven Edgar, a passenger. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $375.00. $5,000 Reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for - the murder of Aleitha Jane Henning, age 58 of R.R.1, Ayton, Ontario on September 19, 1975. The reward is made up of the Township of Normanby - $2,500; Province of Ontario $2,500. Anyone having information should contact the Mount Forest Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police or any O.P.P. office.
