New. Belgrave Cosop store opens.
NEW BUILDING OPENS THIS WEEK — The first
stage of expansion at the Belgrave branch of the.
United Co-Operatives of Ontario, a new store, opens
tomorrow. The co-op, one of the fastest .growing in
Ontario, plans a new 5,000.foot warehouse area next
summer and finally, a new mill to replace the old
one. Belgrave manager Murray Lougheed gives, the
young progressive farmers in the Belgrave area
credit for the expansion of the agriculture supply

Brian Cook, chairman of
Conestoga College, Clinton
Centre, announced Friday to
members of Huron County Coun-
cil that the facilities at Vanastra
will not be closed as was feared.
"There is no doubt that college
will continue in operation in
Huron County," Mr. ,Cook said.
"We are not as seriously off as we
originally thought and I don't
expect a change in geographical

ied visiting homemaker's; 80 from
40 week .:courses in academic

estate, interior design, etc.
Looking to the future, Cones-
toga Clinton campus hopes to ffer 1 ,
machine shop and welding cour-
ses next year.
