will take place Oct. 9 'in the
Canadian Legion Hall. Regis-
tration will be at 9 a.m. Delegates
from 20 senior citizen clubs from
south-western Ontario will at-
tend.
Following registration,
Cameron Inglis, President of
Zone 1, will conduct the meet-
ings. Rev. Eric LeDrew will
conduct a shortdevotional period
and Reeve John McCutcheon will
extend a welcome to the visitors,
on behalf of the village.
For 12 o'clock lunch, all are
asked to bring a box lunch,
pitchers and Club Name Boards.
Tea, Coffee, and milk will be
provided.

The Grey Twp. Fire Depart-
ment were called to Mrs. Lylle
Gordon's on Sunday evening to a
fire in the broiler barn, Fortunatly

The afternoon session will
include a guest speaker at
1:30-Rev. Dennis Clark of
Atwood, a report of the Ottawa
Convention, election of officers
for 75-76, and a short program
arranged by 'the Brussels Club.
At the close of the business,
Mrs. William Miller entertained
with a humerous reading entitled,
"The Backseat Driver."
Twelve tables of euchre and One
of crokinole were played with
winners as follows-High Lady-
Mrs. Edna Hackwell; Low Lady-
Mrs. Harvey Dennis; High Man-
Mrs. Wilbur Turnbull (playing as
a man); Lucky Score Card-Wilbur
Turnbull
Lunch and a social hour com-
pleted the program.
Funeral
MRS. WILFRED WILLIS
Mrs. • Grace Florence Willis,
widow of the late Wilfred Willis of
Brussels passed away suddenly in
London on Saturday, October 4th.
The former Grace Thompson,
she was 74 years of age. She is
survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Hugh (Donalda) Pearson and
Mrs. Glen (Mary) Bone, both of
Brussels, five Sons, Gibton and
Archie of Brussels, Jack of
Burlington, Tom of Brantford and
Donald of Mississauga; two sister'
Mary Thompson of Mississauga,
Mrs. Cecil (Anna) Cooke of
London, 11 grandchildren and
one great grandchild.
She was predeceased by four
brothers and three sister,
She was a life member of the
Ladies Auxiliary of Brussels
LegiOti,
Fimeral services were on
Monday, October 6th from the M.
L. Watts Funeral Home' in
Brussels at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
E. LeDrew officiating, Burial was
in Brussels Cetnetary,
Pallbearer& were Bill Stephen-
son Bob g icluntoid, Tom Garniss,
Dick Stephenson, Al Logan and
J.ack McWhirter.
