Mrs. Cousins convened the Devotions with the theme of "Sowing and Reaping". A poem "Seeds of Kindness" was read of ,ter which the members, joined in singing the hymn "In Christ there is no East or West". Miss Lucas read the Scripture Psl. 126. A story of Planting and REaping was read by Mrs.. Cousins, Prayer was offered. A report on the Mission Work carried-on in west Coast. Inlan d Mission was reviewed by Miss Skelton. That mission is the special project for this year. She also gave facts about the conditions in Kenya. The Bible Study on the'Book of Exodus was led by Mrs. Smith. Study sheets were distributed. References were given and discussed. The General U.C.W. will meet on. Mon. evening Sept. 22, A regional Rally will be held in Kurtsville on Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m. The ladies offered Prayer to close the meeting. Hazelwood on Sunday afternoon, Miss Anne Harrower remaining fora week with her grandparents. LINDA GRACE CALDWELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Caldwell, R.R. 3, Blyth, graduat- ed from University of Western Ontario, with an Honours B.A. in English. She graduated with an A average and appeared on the Dean's Honour List. Linda will attend Althouse College of Education this fall, continuing in English and Dramatics Arts.
