Huron Housing body ce . ON nly] 10 ice MRS. WILLIAM LEEMING Mrs. William Leeming, of R.R.4, Walton, died Saturday at the Seaforth Community Hospital , after a lengthy illness. She was in her 52nd year. Born in Stanley, ,Township, she was the former Ethel Jein Watson, daughter of Fred Watson, of Clinton, and the late Mrs. Watson. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Thomas, John and Robert at home and two daughters,. -Mrs. Dlavid (Mary) Brady, of Hagersville; Jane, at home; and a granddaughter Katharine. She also is survived by er father Fred Watson of Clinton and brothers John of Hayfield and Stewart of Dundas. Flowerbearers were Keith and Bruce Clark, Bob and Jim Watson, nephews of the late Mrs. Leeming. Joseph. McLaughlin Joseph P. McLaughlin, 70; of R.R.4 -Walton, died at his residence, R.R.4 Walton, on Thursday, August 21. The .son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McLaughlin, he. married the former Helen. M. Mr. ISIicthr pointed out that other than the two small authorities ,in Goderich and Clinton the management of the , senior citizen and 16-w income housing which exists or is planned in Blyth, Brussels, Bayfield, Hensall, Exeter, Wingham and Seaforth, is under the direction of the , Ontario Housing Corporation. J. V. Cook, branch manager of OHC for Southwestern Ontario, told the gathering that two large offices of OHC now handle all matters in Huron. He explained that all housing in the northern portion of the county is handled . by the Kitchener office while the south is managed from the' London office. The, takeover., by the county would be economical from a staff point of view, according to Mr. Cook. He said.tiot only would the planned public units of housing. The body was at the R.S. Box Funeral Home, Seaforth. Funeral mass was held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church,, Dublin, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev, Gordon Dill officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Pallbearers were: Dominic Murray, Frank Murray, Steven Murray, Jack Horan, Carl Siemon, and Louis Duffy. _ GEORGE DtiNBAR George Dunbar, formerly Postmaster, Grocer and Farmer and a resident of Ethel, died Monday, August 25th in Calland- ' er Nursing Home Brussels. He was 85. He *as born in Grey Township the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David William Dunbar and lived there all his life until he went to Listowel Hospital and then Cal- lander Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, the former Olive J. McMurchy of Ashfield Township, one son Donald, of R. R. 1, Ethel, one daughter, Mrs. William G. (Georgia) Schaefer of Goderich, one sister, Mrs. Roy (Elsie) Cunningham of Ethel, one brot- her, Clifford, of Ethel. He was predeceased by one sis ter, Stella; and four brothers, Garfield, Lloyd, Stanley and Roy. The funeral service was conduct- ed Wednesday August 27, by Rev. LeDrew at M.L. Watts Funeral Home, Brussels. Inter- ment Brussels Cemetary. Pallbearers were nephews, James Sheoch, Clarence Gibson, Robert Cunningham,- Ross Cun- ningham, Robin Dunbar, and one grandson Paul Schaefer. Flowerbearers were ,grand- children Susan Schaefer, Bechy and David Dunbar. county authority provide full time housing management, maintenance and clerical staff but economies of staff and 011C Staff travel would also be realized. The establishment of a seven member Huron housing authority would not mean instant abolition of the ,Goderich and Clinton authorities.
