do they want to be treated like a
man". Beth herself likes young
men to have good manners and
she appreciates having doors
opened for her.
Being a city girl herself she had
negative feelings about small
towns and villages, but' not any
more. She found Brussels
beautiful, everyone friendly, and
has a high regard for the young
people. "Supernicet". She feels
that the young Canadians she met
are younger for their years than
her friends of the same age,
perhaps because— of family
discipline from which, she added,
some young people she knows at
home would have benefitted.
Her opinion of Brussels Lions
Club: "They are the greatest.
They have been wonderful to me.
I do not think the kids here
realize, or appreciate what the
Lions do for them. They are
terrific. The roller skating is a
great idea. I enjoyed it".
Beth said she is definitely
coming back to Ontario, perhaps
to Brussesls.
