They participated in a fastball tournament on the weekend and on Monday enjoyed a tour to Lake Louise, Banff and Hot Springs. While in Calgary, Doris visited with her brother, Jim who was one of the conveners of the tournament. On Wednesday, the ball team play• in Red Deer and Edmonton and while there Doris will visit her sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Neil Olson and' children in Edmonton. Miss Elizabeth Ferguson of Huntsville' and Dr. Gordon Ferguson of Don Mills were Sunday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. William Van Camp. L. Stonehouse • • The agriculture meeting of the Belgrave Women's Institute was held on Tuesday, June 17 at 8:15 p.m. in the Belgrave W.I. Hall with Mrs. Stanley Black as convener. The meeting opened in the usual manner and was well attended by Members and visitors including members of the newly formed Maitland W.I. Branch of VVingham. , The roll call was a collection of a tee towel from each Belgrave W.I. member and twenty tea . towels were obtained. Mrs. James. Hunter and Mrs: William Coultes demonstrated the making of "chou" pastry and the tasty cream puffs were later served. Miss Audre Coultes favoured the audience with a piano solo. Miss Mary. Anne Miltenburg of Ashfielp Twp. the 1974-75. Huron Countj, Dairy Princess was the guest speaker. She outlined her activities in the country and told the story of milk from a very early beginning and its uses and value toe veryone as a food. With the use of slides she told how cheese is made from the time the milk leaves the milking parlor until the finished product is sold to the consumer. Mrs. Ivan Wightman thanked the -speaker and present ed her. with gift: in appreciation. Mrs. Stanley Hopper presided for the business portion and Mrs. Ross Higgins read the minutes, correspondence and financial report. An invitation was accepted from the Wingham Branch to attend their meeting on June 159. A letter was read concerning new rules and regulations for London area. The Brandon Cemetery Memorial Service will be held on July 6th at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. John Roberts in charge. Mrs.. James Hunter and Mrs Ethel Wheeler were appointed to purchase a suitable clock for the Women's Institute Hall. The, names on the Hall.
