in the group who enjoyed the
three day bus trip to Ottawa, last
week. This trip was arranged by ,
the Brussels Senior Citizens
Friendship Club.
At convocation on Friday, June
6, at Alumni Hall, London, Mrs.
Bill Henry (Myra McNair)
received the degree of BScS.
Attending were her husband Bill;
his grandmother Mrs. Johnston
and mother Mrs. Ross Henry and
son Larry of Goderich and Mrs.
Stuart McNair, Cranbrook.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn
enjoyed a week's holiday on a
motor trip to New York City.
When Mr. and Mrs. W. G.
Elliott, Laurie Elliott and Heather
McMichael went to Alliston on
Sunday they were pleasantly
surprised to find St. John's
United Church congregation
celebrating the 50th Anniversary
of church union, followed by a
picnic, so they visited with many
friends. They also called on
former neighbours.

The Institute sold house and
garden plants and flowered
aprons.
Lunch was served at the close
of an enjoyable evening amid the
beauty of nature and friendships.

Mos. Jack Ross who were married
on Friday, June 7 in Bluevale
Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Harry Waddell and Mrs. L.
Drinkwater both of London and
Mrs. Mary MacTavish of
Huronview visited on Saturday
with Mr. and'Mrs. J.J.Elliott.
A shower for Miss Connie
Mann was held Thursday night'in
the Sunday School room of the
Presbyterian Church. About 80
guests attended. Two contests
were enjoyed before Connie
opened the 'gifts. Lunch was
served to bring the evening to a
close.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs
Bill Taws, nee. Connie Mann, who
were married Saturday in the
Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. J.J.Elliott visited on
Thursday with Mors. Fred Ohm in
Wingham. Also visiting at the
same home were Mrs. Alex
Verbeek, Michelle and Julie of
Kincardine and 'Ars. Calvin
Ruttan and Jenna.

and Civil Engineering. His
sub-foreman is Brenda Johnston
from Belgrave, a third year Music
student at the University of
Western Ontario.
Each crew will begin their
duties on June 23 when secondary
school students, whose interviews
have just been completed, will
begin their summer of environ-
mental cleanup and education.
