MRS. LORNE ECKMIER
Nellie Elizabeth Eckmier, wife
of the late Lorne W. Eckmier,
formerly of Brussels, passed
away suddenly at New Westmin-
ster, B. C, on Wednesday, June
4, 1975.
Funeral services were held on
Monday, June 9, 1975, at the F.
Rowell Funeral Home in New
Westminster with interment and
cremation in Oceanview
Memorial Park, New Westmin-
ster. She is survived by one
son, William Eckmier of Camarillo
Califorinia, three grandchildren -
Robert Jeffrey Eckmier of Los
Angeles, California and Kenneth
and Brian Hayes of Salem
Oregon. A daughter, Mary Helen
Hayes predeceased her.
DENNIS DUQUETTE
Dennis Duquette of 192 Forest
Street in Chatham died on May
17th in the Public General
Hospital.
Son of the late Frank Duquette
and Philomine Matte, he was
born in Dover Township 72 years
ago and farmed all his life. After
his retirement he moved to
Chatham. He had never married.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.
Margaret Remington and Mrs.
Joseph Heyninck and one brother
Wilfred Duquette, all of Chatham
and several nieces and nephews.
Rested at the T. Brady Funeral
Home until Tuesday morning
when funeral took place at 9:30.
Cortege proceeded to Blessed
Sacrament Church where mass
was celebrate& at 10 o'clock.
Prayers were offered Monday
evening at 8 o'clock. Burial was in
St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Mr. Duquette was a former
resident of the Brussels com-
munity for a number of years
when he was employed by a
number of farmers in this area.
ARTHUR C. HENRY
Funeral service was held
Saturday, June 7th for Arthur C.
Henry, who died suddenly,
Thursday, June 5th at Huronview
Clinton, Ontado, age 88 years.
Rev. Eric Le. Drew of Brussels
United Church officiated at the 2
o'clock service at the. M. L. Watts
Funeral. Home, Brussels, Ontario.
Interment followed in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel,
Ontario.
Pallbearers were: Keith Henry
Elwood McTaggart, Stanley
Alexander, George Pearson,
Nelson Sleightholm, Charles
Scheerer. •
The deceased was a lifelong
resident of Huron County. He is
survived by one daughter (Nora)
Mrs. Elwood McTaggart, Ethel,
Ontario; one son, Stuart of
London, Ontario; 6 grand-
children, 10 grea,t-grandchildren
and one sister (Luella) Mrs. D.
Wardlaw, Ethel, Ontario. His
wife the former Olive Lake
predeceased him in 1956.
EDMUND BERNEL WILSON
Edmund Bernel (Skip)Wilson
of Bala died in South Muskoka
Hospital on Sunday, June 1st in
his 20th year.
Born in Wingham , he was the
son of Mr. and Mr. Ted Wilson of
London; grandson of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Th o mpson of
R:R.3, Wingham and of the late
Thomas Wilson, a former Reeve
of Grey Township.
He was a graduate of the
London School System and was
an employee of Seigmiller
Construction.
He is,survived by his parents
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wilson of
London and grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. RObert Thompson of
Wingham, also by two
sisters, Patricia (Mrs. Dennis
Miles) of Whitehorse, Yukon;
Ruth. Ann and two'brothers, Brent
and Peter, all at h ome.
Funeral services were held
from the M.L.Watts funeral home
of Brussels on Wednesday, June
4th with Rev. E. LeDrew of
Brussels United Church
officiating.
Burial took place in Brussels
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Keel,
Lou Flanigan, Murray Irwin,
Shawn Collins and Pat coffins.
