Walton IV began their 4-H
Spring Club with six members
answering the roll call. Leaders
are Mrs. Dianne McNichol and
Jenny Reinink. Officers are:

Schade.
The group discussed the needs
.for the sewing box, the home
assignment and planning the
wardrobe. Then the girls
measured themselves and looked
at pattern envelopes, and types of
material.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. with 98%.

Mrs, Gordon Engel was hostess
for the regular monthly meeting
of the W.M.S. of Knox
' Presbyterian Church. Mrs.
Wilfred Strickler opened the
meeting with a reading "One
single moment", "What a Friend
we have in Jesus" was sung
accompanied on the piano by
Mrs. Clare Veitch. The Scripture
reading from John 14: 1-27 was
read alternately followed by a
meditation by Mrs. Strickler and
Mrs. John Perrie and Mrs. Earl
Dunn took parts in the prayer.
Mrs.Veitch gave an interesting
topic "What the Lord's Prayer
really means" taking . each
petition separately.
During the business period,

were made for the World Day of
Prayer to be held in Knox Church,
Cranbrook, on Friday, March 7 at
2 o'clock. It was decided that the
secretary would order the mission
study for Centennial year.

entered in the Historical records.

were sung with Mrs. Matheson

The minutes of the previous
meeting were read by the secre-
tary Mrs. Steiss and the financial
report by the treasurer Mrs. Amy
Speir.
There were sixteen Visits
reported to sick and shut-iris. The
topic on "Debra, a Woman of the
Bible" was given by Mrs, W.W:
Smith. The collection was taken
by Mrs. Speir and dedicated by
Mrs. Mair.
A card was signed by the
members to be sent to Bessie
Moses who is in the hospital,

study on first chapter of Coles-
glans and all members took part:

here, celebrated their 50th

party at the home of their
daughter Rochelle, her husband
and family,. Among the ninety
nephews, aunts and a few
