Mrs. Wilfred Strickler opened the meeting with a reading "One single moment", "What a Friend we have in Jesus" was sung accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Clare Veitch. The Scripture reading from John 14: 1-27 was read alternately followed by a meditation by Mrs. Strickler and Mrs. John Perrie and Mrs. Earl Dunn took parts in the prayer. Mrs.Veitch gave an interesting topic "What the Lord's Prayer really means" taking . each petition separately. During the business period, ' NOTICE TO CREDITORS conducted by Mrs. Dunn, plans were made for the World Day of Prayer to be held in Knox Church, Cranbrook, on Friday, March 7 at 2 o'clock. It was decided that the secretary would order the mission study for Centennial year.
