F A DELEGATES — Delegates from east Central
Huron who attended the annual meeting of the
Ontario. Federation of AGriculture in Hamilton last
week included (left) John Benjamins, R.R.1, Blyth,
Gordon Blanchard, R.R.4, Walton, and Wm. Pullen;
R.R.2, Blyth. In commenting on the meeting the
delegates said OFA President Gordon Hill had
On Thursday, Nov. 21, a group
of actors from the Huron County
Playhouse came to Howick
Central School to perform a play
entitled, "My Best Friend is
Twelve Feet Tall." There were
five actors in all and judging from
the thunderous response they did
very well. The show lasted for
about an hour and ten minutes
and students were allowed to ask
questions afterwards. They had
practised for a week and all
studied acting before. The
performance itself was very
humerous and poetry turned into
songs made it interesting.
Following the performance the
actors conducted, five workshops
with a similar number of groups
of Gr.3 and 4 students.The actors
had the students act out different
situations, discussed many —
aspects of acting and using the
imagination. We hope the time
spent with these students helped
Improve their ability to
dramatize.
We all wish that they could
come back again for everyone
enjoyed it very much.

Music Night at Listowel
On Tuesday, November 26 the
boys and girls Senior Choir of
Ilowick attended the Listowel
District Secondary School for
(hear annual music night. The
students left on two buses at 715
and returned between 10:00 and
10:15. We were honoured to sing
n this event although many of us
were a bit nervous about gettinguP
and singing in front of approxi-
mately 500 people. We felt we
were ready however, for -this
challenge. We would like to thank
the Music Department of the
tistowel District Secondary
School for inviting us to
participate. The two songs we
sang were Amazing Grace(3
parts) and African Noel (2 parts).
The admission was free and
many friends and parents were in
attendance.

resulting increase to consumers. Delegates to the

commodity boards and 3 provincial co-operatives.
