guests took part in a song
guessing contest which provided
amusing entertainment while the
participants in the next number
were getting ready. They
presented a hilarious fashion
show with Mrs.Cox as
commentator.
The outfits modelled were
made of such varied goods- as
cardboard, newspaper, toilet
tissue, burlap, lace doilies,
butcher wrap and household
cleaning articles. The remainder
of the evening was spent playing
euchre with 10 tables in play.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Gordon Engel, Mrs. Wm.
Bremner and Mrs. Lylle Gordon.
There was a good attendance at.
the Bazaar sponsored by the
meeting in Fordwich on Tuesday,
Institute members, Mrs. Alvin
McDonald, Mrs. William
Humphries, Mrs. Gerald Watson,
Mrs. Ken McDonald and Mrs.
Herb Traviss attended the Guelph
Area Convention last Monday and
Tuesday. The days activities
were held: at Bingeman Lodge at
Kitchener.
Ladies' Aid of Knox Church, held
in the Community Centre on
Saturday afternoon. The variety
of articles for sale were soon
disposed of and a social time
enjoyed at the tea tables.
Several of the Knight families
attended a. family dinner on Satu r
day evening. in honour of the 50th
Wedding Anniversary of their
uncle and. aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Jordan, Lucknow. Open •
house was held on Sunday,
December 1.
Miss Loraine Dinsmore,
Fordwich, spent the weekend
with Miss Sharon Engel.

Gerald, young son of Mr. and

tonsilectomy in Listowel Hospital
last week.

London last Thursday. She is
having further treatment on her
