On Monday, October 28, Bernice Kumm of Brussels, was involved in a single car accident on County Road #16, west of Sideroad 15-16, Grey Township, when the vehicle she was driving went off the road, and rolled over. Miss Kumm was not injured, and damages to her vehicle were estimated at $300.00. Archibald Mason of Blyth was travelling north on Morris Street, Blyth when he struck a rock' the roadway, causi approximately 5200.00 damages to his car. Mr. Mas' was not injured. On Wednesday, October 3 Bruce E. Haberrnehl of R.E.P Elora was northbound, on Huai Road 28, north of Highway when the vehicle he was drivin struck a pot hole, slid into th west ditch and struck a fence po• owned by Robert E. Brussels United Churc Choir is busy The members of the Brussels. Unit ed choir were entertained at the home of Mrs. Roy Cousins following their practice last Tuesday evening. On Sunday morning during the worship service they sang the song "Down On My Knees". Also attending the Sunday morning service was George Weber of . Atwood who sang two Gospel solos accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Doreen Danbrook, and Mrs. Gladys Jones at the organ. In the evening, the U.C.W. Thank Offering Service was held with guets attending 'from surrounding churches. The choir presented their canto "Amazing Grace". Following th cantata, a quartette consisting Mr. and -Mrs. George Cousin Mrs. Ivan Campbell and M .Murray Hoover sang the jubila arrangement of "The King I Coming" by Wm. J. Gaithe Emily and Murray sang sped solo parts. Afterwards, lunch w served to the congregation by th group in charge. On Sunday, November 17, th choir will host a group of about children from the Palmerato Mid-Western School, as the present special music for th congregation.
