Mission is showing love to our
family, sharing resources within
the community, being politically

getting involved at work as a
caring Christian, sharing other
people's culture and responding
as we travel, being sensitive to
the thoughts of others as they
look at our society, reaching out
and sharing God's love with
others in the world, and being
Christians wherever we are!
Interesting skits were

Society
The Huron County Historical
Society will meet in Seaforth on
Monday, October 21 at 8 p.m. in
the Public School. Local historian
Miss Belle Campbell will speak
and there will be an anti*:
display at the meeting,
The Society's new president,
David McClure of Exeter, in a
newsletter to members, asked
them to remind senior citizens to
donate any old photographs or
documents which they no longer
want to the Huron Historical
Society's archives or to the
County Museum in Goderich.
"Many of these people have
priceless photographs and
articles which from our historical
viewpoint are priceless but very
often arc thrown out before
auction sales or arc sold to
persons who do not see their real
value historically," Mr. McClure
said.
"Many of these people just
need to be encouraged and would
he happy to present such material
to our Archives."
Mr. McClure also suggested
ways in which young' people can
be involved in the history of the
county. These included sponsor-
ing a photographic contest featur-
ing old buildings in the county,
contests for written or tape
recorded interviews with senior
citizens, or Fall Fair historical
projects or articles at all Fairs.
