Cunningham of England and Mr,
and Mrs. Wtn. Martin (the former
Gloria Cunningham) of Havelock,
Ont., were visitors in Brussels
last Wednesday. Mr.
Cunningham and Mrs. Martin are
former residents, of Brussels.
Bill McDowell of Brampton, a
former resident of Brussels,
visited one day recently with
Archer Grewar.
Visiting with Mrs. Glenna St.
ephens were Dr, and Mrs. James
Stephens, Dr. and Mrs. George
Freddie and Mrs. Hilda Priddle,
all of Kitchener.
Fall Fair
The Ladies' Division of the
Brussels Agricultural Society met
Thursday night in the library to
make final plans for the 1974 Fair.
The ladies will meet with the
men to clean the Palace on
Monday, September 22nd, at 1
o'clock.
They would like to remind the
Directors' wives about two pies
and would be grateful for Ries
anyone cared to donate.
The Wednesday lunch was
planned for.
The Lady Directors are selling
tickets on a hind quarter of beef.
They may be purchased form any
director.
The ladies are trying to make
the fair attractive to all.
The Wednesday night program
will be local talent.
The booth committee finalized
plans and are purchasing a coffee
maker.

Bob Rann of Cambridge is
spending a few days with his
mother, Mrs. D.A. Rann. Mrs.
W.A. Spence of Toronto is also a
visitor at the same home.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lahn and
daughter of Hanover and Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Wheeler and sons of
Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Fowler,
Don and Audrey of Port Elgin
were Sunday visitors with her
sister, Mrs, Harry Bolger,
Mr. and Mrs, Jack McCut-
cheon and Mr. and. Mrs. Ned
Rutledge were in Gananoque on
Saturday to attend the wedding of
their niece,
Bill McDowell of Brampton
visited on Friday of last week with
Mrs. Harry Bolger,
Miss Doneida Stiles has
returned to her home after
spending the summer holidays
with her grandparents, Alex and
Mrs. Steiss of Brussels and two
weeks with relatives in 'Alberta
and Manitoba.
Mr. and Mrs, Harold Thomas
visited with friends at Massley
and Ingersoll on Sunday.
