The ladies were reminded to bring their donations for the Mission Hospital next meeting. UN sessions, a boat trip to the statue of Liberty and .tours of the Empire State Building and' Rockefeller Centre. She travelled to New York with 46 Canadians, from all over Ontario, who were also sponsored by the two lodges. In New York they were joined by several busloads of American st udents. All the Rebekah and Ocklfellow winners, about 150, toured together and there were two Canadians and two Americans sharing many of the hotel rooms. Anna Lee found New Yorkers "very friendly" 'but said the subway there was really dirty. "It was over 100. In the subway some days and as soon as you walked down you felt like you had'igotten hit in the face with a wet rag." She made many good friends, really enjoyed herself, and learned a lot, Attna Lee said, She will be speaking to lodges in this area and showing slides of her trip this fall. On September 11 she will be in.
