Ken Ashton is out again after
undergoing surgery in University
Hospital, London.
Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Pearson
returned from a trip to the
Maritime Province on Thursday
of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ebel and
family of Ingersoll have been
holidaying with Brussels
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kennedy,
Bobby, Andrew, Deanna and
Adrian, of Ottawa, spent
Wednesday and Thursday of last
week with their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. R.W.Kennedy.
Barry McCauley of Stratford
spent last week with his mother,
Mrs. Dorothy McCauley, and
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
George Bone and other relatives
and friends in the community.
Mrs.-Tom Campbell of Elora, a
fortner resident of Brussels, has
been a visitor with Mrs. Jessie
Engel. Mr. Campbell passed
away in June and Mrs. Campbell
has recovered from a heart attack.
They have been long-time
subscribers of The Brussels Post
which Mrs. Campbell said, she
enjoys very much.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker of
Grand Bend have been visitors
with Mrs. Selwyn Baker.
Misses Julie and Maureen
Hanna, of Burlington, were
visitors at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Raymond.
Mr. and Mrs. Laidlaw Strachan
of Preston-Cambridge have been
visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
Wilbur. Mrs. George Habkirk and
son, John of Ingersoll and Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Lawless and
Dianne of Burlington were also
visitors with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. W.J.Turnbull.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bryans
attended the Rushton fam,ily
picnic at Port Elgin on Sunday.

weekend visiting with her parents
Mr. and Mrs. George Davidson.
Bill Rowland of Burlington was
a holiday visitor with hisq'father,
John Rowland.
Phil Durst of Gananoque has
been visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
Ned Rutledge.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bryans were
in London on Saturday to attend
the 84th Birthday Party of Rosie
Smith Lightbody, whose father
built and owned the Ament Mill
and house(now occupied by Mrs.
Dave Hastings,; which. he hit er
sold to Aments.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack
McCutcheon and Mr. and
Louis Ebel and family have been
enjoying a holiday trip in
Northern Ontario.
Reeve and Mrs. J. L.
McCutcheon were attending a
convention in Toronto from
Monday to Wednesday of this
week.
Mrs. Alma Spence and Miss
Doris Pattison of Toronto 'were
weekend guests of Mr. and. Mrs.
D.A. Rann.
Mr, and Mrs. Hugh Kennedy,
their daughters, Mrs. George
Doig and Mrs. Rodger Kedwell,
all of Toronto and their son Frank
and Mrs. Kennedy visited on
Saturday with Mr: and Mrs.
R.W.Kennedy.

Mississauga.
Mr. and Mrs. George Hemple
and family of Stratford were
visitors on Friday with her sister,
Mrs. Ken.Sholdice, Mr. Sholdice
and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schmidt
and grandchildren of Stratford
visited at the same home on
Monday. The ladies are sisters.
Mrs. Harry Bolger attended:the
50th Wedding Anniversary of Mr.
and Mrs.Earl Watson held at the
home of their son Gerald Watson,
R.R.2, Blyth.
Mrs. Mary Kay of Palmerston
was a weekend visitor with Mrs,
Hary Bolger.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller of
Port Credit were weekend visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. C.W.Cardiff.
Mrs. Miller, who became ill was
taken by ambulance to Wingham
and District Hospital on Friday
but was able to return home to
Port Credit on Tuesday.
