William Niezen and William S.
Cockerline, both of Blyth, were
involved in a collision in the
Village of Blyth. There were no

estimated at $350.00. Charges are
pending.
On Friday, July 19, 1974, Lorne
S.' Brown of Brussels struck a
teatn and a prize will be awarded
when the executive selects the
winner,. A dance in September
will help get the Jr. team on the
right foot.
Doug Cruckshank, the newly
appointed coach, is just waiting to
hydro pole in the Village of
Brussels, Mr. Brown was not
injured. Damages to his vehicle
and the Hydro pole were
estimated at $950.00.
On Saturday, July 20, 1974,
Gordon G. Ash of Gorrie and
Gordon E. Weber of Listowel
were involved in a two-car
collision on County Road #28 at
Edward Street in Gorrie. No one
was injured, and damages were
estimated at $750.00. Charges are
pending.

The 1974 Brussels Invitational
Mens Softball Tournament is
offering $150 to the top winning
team this year.
The Tournament, running from
August 2 - 5 will have $335 total
prize money.
A winner will receive $150 plus
a trophy; runner up in that class
receiving $25.
B winner will get $75 plus a
trophy; runner-up receiving $25.
The winner,of each game up to
and including the quarter-finals
will receive $5.
