The Rev. Eric Le Drew perform-
ed the nuptial ceremony. The
wedding music was taped.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George McCutch-
eon of Brussels. The groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Brister of Niagara Falls, Ont.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was gowned in white
silk lagoda. Ruffles enhanced the
scooped neckline and cuffed the
long slim sleeves. The controlled
A-line skirt fell into a -permanent
pleated attached chapel train with
bow and streamers falling from
the back waist line. A halo of
organza flowers held a four-tier
scalloped veil of illusion. Her
bridal bouquet was yellow roses
an d w hit e carnat i ons .
Miss Pauline McCutcheon was
her sister's maid of honour. Other
bride's attendants were Misses
- Nancy McLean of Guelph, Mar-
garet Harris of Mississauga and
Janet Brister, sister of the groom,
of Niagara Falls.
The bride's attendants wore
Mr, and Mrs. John A. Ferric
attended the Convocation at
U.W.O. held at Alumni .Hall on
June 4th when their son Leslie
received his Bachelor of Arts
degree. There was a reception
afterwards in the Plaza of the
University Centre.
Mr, and Mrs. Keith Purdy and
children, Alliston visited on the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs.
Douglas Purdy.
Mrs, Mac Engel was a guest at
the marriage of her niece Eleanor
Keys to Norman Walker on
Saturday, June 8, at the home of
the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Keys. The young couple will
reside in London.
A pleasant time was spent on
Thursday evening at the home of
Mrs. Melvin Becket when a
number of neighbours and W.
Members gathered for a surprise
party. PIM games, singing, and
contests were enjoyed and

and cape sleeves. Their accessor-
ies were a single strand of pearls
and wide floppy white hats
adorned with 'green bands and
bows.
Brian Bell of Niagara Falls. was
'the groom's best man. Guests
were ushered by Patrick Brown,
Ian Harris and Rick Clarke.
The bride's table, for the
kvedding dinner at the Brussels
United Church, was centred with
a 3-tiered wedding cake, candles
and daffodils.
The reception was held in the
Brussels Canadian Legion Hall.
The bride's mother received
their guests in a floor-length
mauve and blue flowered gown of
polyester. Her corsage was a
.white gardenia. ,
The groom's mother wore a '
gown of blue and pink flowered
crepe , w i t h a w hi te garden i a
corsage.
For a wedding trip to England,
the bride chose a three-piece pant
suit featuring red slacks, red and
white top and white blazer.
Guests were in attendance from
England. Washington, D.C,
Niagara Falls, Guelph, St. Cath-
arines. Toronto, K it ch en er,
Windsor; Brussels, and surround-
ing areas,
served.
Mrs,,Wm. Campbell, Listowel,
attended the morning service in
Knox Church and visited later
with Mrs. Mac Engel.
Mr. and Mrs. Szarek. Sr;, Kit
ehener, visited on Sunday with
their son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Geo, Szarek.
Marty former members and
friends joined with the
congregation of Knox Church for
the special service of dedication
of the new Hainniond organ. Rev.
C.A.Falconer, minister of the
church conducted the service.
Miss Faye Holman, Monkton,
was guest soloist and the Junior
Choir contributed two numbers,
A' time of fellowship followed
when ladies of the congregation
served refreshments,

Bradshaw; Brussels, visited Mr.
and Mrs. Wes, McEacherit and
attended the service
Mrs. Calvin Cameron has
returned froth a two week trip,
visiting relatives in Arizona,
Mr. and Mrs, George Malcolm
Galbraith will reside at 511 Angus
Street, Wingham, following a
honeymoon in Kentucky. They
were united in marriage in - a 4
P.m. ceremony on Saturday, May
25, in Knox United Church.

and blue shades, adorned the
altar and lighted tapers in
candelabra enhanced the late
afternoon , setting. •
Mrs, Galbraith is the former
Donna Jean WapleS, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs, Keith Waples of
Durham. The groom is the son of
Mrs. George Galbraith of
Wingham and the late Mr.
Galbraith,
David Baxter presided at the
organ. and Elaine and Kim
Schenck sang -The Wedding
Song - and "Let it 1k Mc''.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor-
length gown of chantilly lace over
satin in white rose design,
fashioned with fitted bell-cuffed
sleeves and a long train. The
shoulder-length veil was edged
with hand-embroidered chantilly
lace design and she carried a
cascade bouquet of yellow and
white mums,
Maid of honor, Miss Anne
Wragg of Kitchener, wore a
floor-length gown of mint green
chiffon with ruffles mid lace
accenting the yoke and hemline,
She carried a nosegay of yellow
daisies.
in similar ensembles were the
bridesmaids. Miss Barbara
Waples of Kleinberg and Miss
tleithie Gordon of Kitchener,
Miss Julia Bredin of Thornhill
was the flower girl, gowned in a
floor-length dress similar in style
to those of the senior attendants.
She carried a basket of yellow and
blue daisies.
Mr. Atm. de Vos of Bluevale
was groomsman and guests were
ushered by Dr. Jack Galbraith of
Essex and Mr. Gord Waples of
Durham. Master Paul Bredin of
Thornhill was ring bearer.
The Hanover Coliseum was
decorated with flowers, streamers
and horseshoes for the reception
which followed. The bride's
mother wore a floor-length gown
of' pink polyester. The groom's
mother chose a floor-length gown
of pastel floral chiffon with
wrist-length bouffant sleeves,
.Both had ,a corsage of white
gardenias.
For travelling, the bride
donned a floor-length
long sleeved crepe dress in brown
designed with a floral pattern,

the • wedding from Troy,
Michigan; Dundas, Toronto,
Ottawa, London, Guelph,
Heosall, North Bay, Wingham,
Orangeville; Midland and Owen.

Jacquelyn Margaret Weiss of New Vernon, New
Jersey, whose marriage to Mr.. Randolph Peter
Colson took place at Church of Christ the King, New
Vernon, N.J. on Saturday, the first of June. She is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Weiss and
granddaughter of Mrs. Florence Russell of
Brussels. The bride's mother is the former Hannah
Russell of Brussels.
