TV in Kitchener Wednesday
night,"Bowling for 'Dollars".
Mrs. Adams won $13.
Her husband. Ray and five
children accompanied her along
with the couple who own the
Molesworth Bowling Lanes where
Mrs. Adams bowls.
Derek Raymond, who has been
a patient in Wingham and District
Hospital for two months, returned
home Thursday of last week.
George Bone is a patient in
Wingham and District Hospital.
Brussels rink
wins bonspiel
Two combined Brussels rinks
won the Ontario Silver Tankard
Division 13B Bonspiel in Seaforth
on Sunday.
Curlers from Teeswater, Sea-
forth, Harriston and _Brussels
competed.
In the morning, Teeswater
defeated Seaforth and Brussels
won over Teeswater to carry off
top honors.
Brussels Curlers wore: Jim
Smith, lead; Brian Adams,
second; Ron McLean, Vice; Doug
Rathwell, skip.
Bob Alexander, lead; Stewart
Steiss, second; Murray Hoover,
vice; Ross Veitch, skip.
The playoffs for the Division A
Championship will be in Wing-
ham, March 10 at 9 a.m. The
winners to go on to the Ontario
Championships.

out by officers of the Wingham
Detachment of the OPP include:
On Monday, February 18,
1974, Jacqueline F. Fair of
Kitchener was involved in a
single car accident on Highway
#86, east of the Junction Road to
Bluevale, Turnberry Township,
when her car left the north edge
of the road and struck a mail box.
There were no injuries, and
damages were estimated at
$520.00.
On Tuesday, February 19,
1974, James R. Mills of London
and a passenger, P. Barrington
received minor injuries in a single
car accident on County Road #12,
south of Concession 13-14, Grey
Township. Damages were
estimated at $250.00.
Walter B. DebOld was involved
in a single car accident on
Highway #4, south Of the
Maitland River Bridge. Injured as
a result Of the accident was
Norman Bechard of R.R.#6,
GOderich, Ontario, a passenger in
the Debold vehicle, Damages
were estimated at 1,000.00.
On Friday, February 22, 1974,
Lynda M. Owen of Wrcnetet,
Ontario was invOlVed in a single
car accident on County Road #12,
north of Highway 86, Turpberry

1974, Susan C. Weiss of
Walkerton and Garth W.
McClinchey of R.R.#1, Auburn
were involved in a two car
accident on Highway #4, north of
the Blyth C.P.R. X-ing.Injured as
a result of the accident was Ruth
E. McClinchey, Damages were
estimated at $500.00.
Robert E. Bellamy of R.R.#2,
Chatham and David J. Hayes of
Toronto were involved in a two
car collision on Highway #4, north
of the Blyth C.P.R. X-ing. Mr.
Bellamy was injured, as well as
Susan M, Hayes, a passenger in
the Hayes vehicle. Damages were
estimated at $1400.00. Charges
are pending.
On Sunday, February 24, 1974,
Gregory J. H ood of 1~i:.k.#3,
Brussels, Ontario was involved in
a single-car accident on Huron
County Road #12, south Of
Concession 11421 Grey
Township. No one was injured,
and damages were' eStitnated at $75o.1)0,
recently moved from Ireland to
Clinton were the special guests
and provided many entertaining
numbers. Each participant in the
concert was given a silver dollar
to show the Liens' Club
appreciation for their making the
evening a success.

Grade 3 Assembly
Mrs. Wilson and her Grade 3
class presented their assembly on
Tuesday, Feb. 26, Many parents
and relatives were in attendance
and Mr, Scott thanked' them for
their support. The theme of the
assembly centred around the
problem farmers have with birds
stealing their crops. The birds
decided to leave and the farmers

extremely bad but the activity
was well suppOrted by the
