REPORT

Recent investigations carried
out by the OPP of Wingham
Detachment include:
Three investigations with three
persons charged under the Liquor
Control Act.
Ten charges laid and twelve
warnings issued under the
Highway Traffic Act.
Thirty investigations with two
persons charged under the
Criminal Code of Canada.
On November 27, Bernard F.
McNaniee of Wingham was
involved in a single-car accident
on Concession 6-7, east of the B.
Line, Turnberry Township. Mr.
McNamee was injured as a result
of the accident, and damages to
his vehicle, were estimated at
$1200.00.
On November 28, Albert N.
Bieman of R.R.#1, Belgrave was
involved in a single car accident
on Huron County Road #20 , west
of Highway #4. He was not
injured, and damages to his
vehicle were estimated $180.00.
On November 30, Andrea L.
Tibensky of R.R.#2, Blyth and
Howard Clark of • Londe'sboro
were involved in a collision on
Huron County Road #12, south of
Thomas Street, Brussels. Andrea
L. Tibensky and a passenger in
her car, Martha Cook of R.R.#1,
Clinton, were injured as a result
of the collision. Damages to both
vehicles were estimated at
$800.00. Charges are pending.
On December 1, PercyAdam of
Blyth, was involved in a single car
accident on Highway #4, north of
the CPR X-ing, Blyth. Mr. Adam
was injured as a result of the
accident, and damages to his
vehicle were estimated at
$900.00.
Commercial Vehicles
A recent inspection of
commercial motor vehicles in
the Province of Ontario by they
Provincial Ministry of Transpor-
tation and Communications
revealed that 86.7% of the
commercial motor vehicles
inspected were mechanically
defective. As a result of this,
0.P:P. officers have been ordered
to step 'up enforcement in this
area.
