Anyone saw the Farm Show will be glad, to know that "Them Donnellys", a play about the infamous "13I Donnellys" of Lucan will be at the Sales Barn in Clinton this Friday and Saturday at 8 Nov. and 24 and at the Festival Theatre in Stratford. Friday, November 30' at 8 P.M. and Sunday Monday, Dec. 2 and 3 at 2:0Q. Ain FOR sat OPP report accidents Recent investigations carried out by the OPP at Wingham Detachment included: One investigation with one person charged under the Liquor Control Act. Nine charges laid and ten warnings issued under the. Highway Traffic Act. Twenty-five investigations with two persons charged under the Criminal Code. On Tuesday, November 13, Donald A. Walsh of Blyth, and Clernentus Verhoeven of London, were involved in a two-car collision on Mill , Street at the junction of Drummond Street in Blyth.No one was injured and damages were estimated at $400.00. Charges are pending. On Saturday, November 17, Dale T. Machan of Brussels was involved ina single car accident on County Road #12 'at the junction of Cypres Street in Brussels .Injured in the accident was,, Murray A. Nichol of Brussels, a passenger in the Machan vehicle. There were no damages. Kevin B. O'Malley of R.R.#2, Teeswater struck a hydro pole and mailbox on County Road #12, south of Concession ' 1243,, Howick Township, and was injured as a result of the accident. Damages to his vehicle were estimated at $2000.00. On Friday, November 16, Bruce McDermid of Aurora, and Walter E. Nixon were involved in a two-car collision on Highway #87, east of Huron Road #28, Howick Township. There were no injuries ' and damages were estimated at $400.00. Brussels School News On. October 19th grade 8 of russels Public School got under-1 y with their first school party. i This time it was a' little -bit different with us having a Hallowe'en party for grades 4 and under. We had a good turnout. The childrens'• cestumes were' judged and such games as bobbing for apples, peanut and sucker scrambles, treasure hunts and many other games were played. Later refreshments were served. We hope the children enjoyed this and we hope it can be an annual event. On November the 10th a Remembrance Day Assembly was held with Grades 5 and up taking part. Grade 8 sang in a choir "A Song of Peace". Later that night Gr. 8 class held a dance for Gr. S and up. The priceof admission was .35©..We hoped everyone enjoyed them- selves. The members met at the home of Mrs. J.J.Elliott'. Psalm 112 was read by Mrs. Jack Willits. Mrs. Joe Walker delivered the meditation based on the scripture and then led in prayer. Roll call was answered by giving suggestions for 1974 roll calls. Visits to the sick were recorded and minutes were read by the secretary) Mrs. Glenn McKercher. Mrs. Gordon Mundell gave the treasurer's report. USed stamps were collected and. Mrs. Mundell enlightened the members about the use made of them for the Leprosy Mission, Mrs. Elliott reported on the bale which was packed and sent for the supply fund. • . Mrs. Harry Elliott had charge of 'the topic, • "India's Culture" Ambassador to the West". Mrs. Golley thanked Mrs. Elliott for her interesting message and also thanked the hostess.
