Dobson in honor of Mrs. Layton Smith, before her departure to make her home in Listowel. Seven tables enjoyed euchre with pri- zes given. Mrs. Smith was pre- ' sented with a set of dishes, T.V. tables and place mats from the Ethel Community. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Bray vi- sited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis at Lucan. Neighbors from the tenth line gathered at the home of Mr and Mrs. Cliff Bray, Saturday even- ing and presented them with ing and presented them with dre- sser lamps as a remembrance of them living on the tenth. Sunday visitors with Mr. and OBITUARY JOHN A. NEWBIGGING John Albert Newbigging, for- merly of Atwood, passed away at his home in Pontiac, Mich. on October 30. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Rae Nichor, one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Alice) Helgimo of Walled Lake, Mich.; two sons, Jack of Clarkston, Mich., and James of Pontiac, Mich.; ten grandchildren and se- ven great-grandchildren . ' one sister, Jennie. Willard of Eye- brow, Sask., and one brother, R. S. Newbigging, of Weston. • He was predeceased by one grandson and four brothers.
