KEN LOVES CAMPING
The friendly smile gives an idea of Ken's personality. He is
just as nice as he looks. Soon to be II, Ken is a Canadian Indian
with brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion. He is an
average student in Grade six. He is especially interested in art
for which he appears to have talent and it is hoped he will have
encouragement and the opportunity to pursue this interest.
Ken is an active, healthy boy who likes most sports. He
enjoys outdoor activities, especially camping. Though a quiet
lad, Ken, is outgoing and friendly with the ability and the
inclination to get on well with people of all ages. His foster
parents and teachers report that he is well behaved and co-
operative.
Ken has lived in both rural and urban areas and seems
happy in either. The important factor of an a,doption, home for
him is not location but the desire of the parents to add a likeable
preteen son to their family. It will be preferable if there
are other children in the household because Ken likes and is
accustomed to young companions.
To inquire about adopting Ken, please write to Today's
Child, Box_ 888 Station K, Toronto M4P 2112. For general
adoption information, please contact your local Children's Aid
Society.

The pleasant summerlike
weather on last Wednesday did
not keep many members of the
Brussels Senior Friendship Club
away from the meeting in the
Legion. Hall.
Alfred Knight opened the
meeting with an excellent col-

local, they proved to be very
interesting, with some beautiful
and well-taken pictures.
A short business meeting was
held in which two main items
were discussed. A motion was
passed to be addressed to the
council Of the village of Brussels
to the effect that no expenditure
be made toward a new arena with-
out a vote of the people of the
area. The second motion was
to appoint a committee of five to
investigate the possibility of ob-
taining the C.N.R. station for the
use of the senior citizens. The
committee chosen Were Waiter
